When you download

We require your name and email address to register a free download. We store them with the date, file type, model identifier, parameters and file checksum, so the administrator can understand which designs were requested and handle questions about a particular file. You can explore the configurator without providing these details. We do not verify email ownership.

The proposed legal basis for this download register is our legitimate interest in operating and evaluating this engineering portfolio and supporting requested files. The checkbox acknowledges this notice; it does not sign you up for marketing. We do not sell contact details or use this form for newsletters.

Access and retention

Only the administrator can view the register. The application is hosted on a Netcup VPS. Names and email addresses are removed after 12 months by scheduled maintenance; non-contact download statistics and model information remain. Administrative erasure requests remove identifying fields from all matching records. Any administrator-created backups must follow the same retention policy.

IP addresses may be used temporarily in memory to limit abusive requests. This application does not store them in its download database. The supplied web-server configuration disables access logs; operational error logs may still contain connection details. No advertising cookies or third-party analytics are used. The 3D viewer library is served locally.

Engineering prototype

Generated geometry and manufacturing notes are for design exploration. Verify mounting dimensions, process compatibility and the mechanical suitability of a finished fin for its intended use.
